Citizens should exercise caution in any decisions about international travel, taking account of their overall health, their vaccine status, and the risk of testing positive for COVID-19 while abroad. Anyone considering travelling abroad should be aware that restrictions are subject to change at short notice, and additional restrictions may be imposed by the country of your destination, including during your visit.
Travel to St Vincent and the Grenadines
All passengers travelling to St Vincent and the Grenadines must complete the Pre-Arrival Form available on the Ministry of Health website.
Travellers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must present proof of vaccination on arrival, as well as a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to arrival or a negative rapid antigen test result taken within 24 hours prior to arrival.
Travellers who are not fully vaccinated must present a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to arrival and will be subject to 7 days mandatory quarantine in an approved hotel at their own cost. They will be tested again on day 5 of their quarantine period.

Potential for Natural Disasters:
- La Soufriere, an active volcano located on the northern part of St. Vincent, poses a constant threat. The volcano erupted almost daily from April 9 to April 22, 2021, forcing the evacuation of nearby communities.
- Earthquakes may occur at any time, often associated with seismic activity in the volcano.
- The Eastern Caribbean islands are vulnerable to hurricanes and tropical storms from mid-May through November.
- Monitor the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and St. Vincent’s National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) website and NEMO social media for the latest updates.

Zika Virus
There have been outbreaks of Zika Virus (a dengue-like mosquito-borne disease) in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Irish Citizens especially those with a weakened immune system or women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant are advised to follow guidance available on the website of the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC).
